PH Pallets are proud to have achieved the accolade of accredited re-processor for wood as they operate a closed loop recycling system; taking in pallets from companies to whom they are waste, sorting and repairing where possible and selling on. Any damaged beyond repair or obscure sized pallets are put into their new compound to be shredded. They stay in this compound until the moisture content is below 20% and are then loaded via forklift into the shredder hopper. The pallets are shredded by their Dragon D160 timber shredder, and discharged onto a Dragon inclined conveyor with a magnetic head roller and overband magnetic conveyor which remove any pallet nails or other ferrous contamination. The shreds then go through a Christy Turner hammermill supplied by Dragon Machinery, after which the product is dust extracted and baled.
